To standout from the crowd of Japanese restaurant in Hong Kong, the brief was to design a Japanese restaurant that is Hong Kong specific with cultural impacts and exclusive storytelling, meanwhile to maintain authentic Japanese architecture and design touches. Function-wise, the restaurant will need to be in flexible layout to cater occasional private events and to enable a pet-friendly environment.
With a mix of traditional Japanese-styled materials (Naguri, Shikui etc), also creativities of Hong Kong local young craftsmen, KOME KUSHI presents an exclusive dining experience filled with cultural stories.
